HAND-MADE
We believe energy flows through everything. There is life energy that goes into pieces made by hand from the artist who chose to pour his/her heart into, in order to bring something to life. This is something that cannot be recreated when buying mass-produced products. In addition, it is an opportunity to give the artisan a voice, which they might not otherwise have.
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
As an interior designer, it is also important for me to contribute to sustainable design, by re-purposing furniture, as well as dead stock textiles, and to keep them from the landfill is my contribution to the bigger cause. I had to take advantage of living in France, to shop firsthand, year-round, at our local antique fairs and flea markets. I am drawn to these French classics, textiles, and antiques that have a story by the defects which reveal their age.
